Where our story began

GINGER&ME was born during one of the most difficult chapters in founder Maria Enna-Cocciolone’s life.

Maria, who had always shared a beautiful bond with her dad, feared the day she might lose him; when that day came, at the end of his 12-year journey with dementia, the grief was profound.

Yet, through it all, Maria was surrounded by the love and strength of her family, friends and tribe. When there were no words that could make things better, they were simply there – helping her through the hardest days and reminding her that she never had to face them alone.

Their love helped Maria find the courage to be Brave. It allowed her to feel Happy for the wonderful life and moments she had shared with her dad. And, through the sadness, it helped her remain Grateful for the memories that would always be hers.

Those three emotions became the heart and soul of GINGER&ME.

What began as Maria’s own reminder grew into something she could share with others: a body collection in three signature fragrances, each carrying a message of courage, joy or gratitude.

It was never intended to be simply another body range. It was created as a celebration and dedication to life and as a way to reach someone when the right words are difficult to find.

Every GINGER needs a ME

The name GINGER&ME reflects Maria’s belief that life was never meant to be navigated alone.

We all need a ME: a shoulder to lean on, a heart that cares, a friend who sees our strength when we cannot see it for ourselves. Someone who reminds us that a bad day is not a bad life and that even in our darkest moments, we are loved, supported and enough.

This belief lives within every part of GINGER&ME. It is found in the affirmations written across our packaging, in the poems shared with every gift and in the fragrances designed to gently return you to the present.

It is the spirit of friendship made tangible; something beautiful to give, receive and hold close.
